I was watching the Giants game on tv the other night and thought around the 4th inning "why don't i just walk down there and watch through the fence since it's only 5 blocks away?"
Cleverly, i stuck $20 in my pocket (to seperate it from my wallet) and started walking down there with my roommate.
About halfway there, a scalper was offering us tickets.. He either had club level or lower box. I told him I only had $20 on me and would give him that. After about 30 seconds of haggling, he agreed, and we took the club seats to meet up w/some friends of mine that were already in that section.
We get to the game, Zito had given up 3 runs to tie the game, then the Astros score a couple more times for Zito to get yet another loss this season.
All in all, it was a waste of money to see the Giants lose as I swore to never go to another game where Zito starts until he gets his act together, but hey.. $20 for 2 tickets. You can't really go too wrong in that ball park.
I'm going to have to do this again, even though weeknight tickets on StubHub! are super cheap these days, and you actually can get a good selection.
It's been how long that everyone has been waiting for GT5? It's not even a full game yet, but it does have quite a few cars and tracks available.
I decided to download it for my playstation 3 and I'm glad I did.
The physics, driving engine, graphics, etc are great. I forgot how awesome this game is in general if you're into cars or driving or racing. This new version definitely makes it even better.
I found the power supply for my steering wheel, and it makes the gameplay even better.
