After a 14 yr or so break from biking, I finally got a bike.
I picked up this bad boy, a 2004 Jamis Dakar Sport.
I'd like to thank Brice at Mt Tam Bikes in Mill Valley for hooking me up w/a deal on a demo bike that was barely used.
So far, I've ridden around China Camp in San Rafael (single track bayside trail, and up from behind Dominican 5/6ths of the way up to the Nike missile psylo's)(yeah.. that's a climb!), the bay trail in Novato, and a little here and there on the road. Since I've only had it a week, I guess it's not too bad.
So it feels great, I definately missed it, and plan on riding at least a couple times a week.
