well... what a day it was.. I got a ride to work from my roommate.

I was about to take a cab because i didn't want to be late to a meeting.

Get to work, hit up starbucks, go get the bagel friday action, find out the meeting is cancelled.. sux4me.. i could've slept in.. sorta..

 After work, i go meet up with Celine at a wine bar,  we have drinks, they're good... wine i wrong..

Her wallet got stolen from some douche that "used to manage for tay" whatever.. fuck that guy.

We take a cab, stop by her place, grab her passport, so she has ID, go to my place, dump my  backpack, go back downtown and go to the show at 111.

dun dun DUN!... guest list only. wtf. that sucks. we go to Eddie Rickenbacker's for a while and thought about going bowling, we couldn't see qbert, it made me sad.

I was dragging serous ass at this point and we finsih our beers at the bar and start going somewhere to just watch a movie.

 Let's give trying to get into 111  a shot real quick.. maybe they're chill now.. who knows...

I stand in line get to the front, then things get ok.

I get to the front and they ask me if I'm on the guest list... I tell them: "nope, but I need to see q, he's the man" 

They ask if i know anyone, i drop Huck's name, and the little characters that got sold on q's site, and they ask for ID...

OH YEAH!

I went from being really excited to see q, to not getting in, to being 5ft from q within an hour. 

Q was throwing down a sick set... He was doing what he does for friends and not appearances..He was just playing records, having a good time, juggling. mixing, scratching...

What I really should've done is seen QBert do what he did when I was a teenager and didn't see him do his thing when it happened every weeekend when he was still underground... i knew about him, but just didn't go...

Stupid me, i went to raves..  They were chill, Dj Dan, Buck, John Howard, Sunset... lol @ cyberfest... good

experiences, but lol @ my childhood.

So back to 111 Minna tonight..  

So yeah.. we're at 111, Bua's art is everywhere, and I want to buy some.. definitely #4, there's some b-girls breakin in the big room, q's on the projector, the music's bumpin through the whole place.

It didn't suck.. the minute I actually got inside, my nipples got hard from the music, maybe i'm just a fanboy, maybe i have a passion for it.
